Thanks to everyone for their comments... I will attempt to respond to each of them as I can.

I am still working on managing the shifts in time sequences as time for me seems to ebb and flow like sea tides rather then flowing in a linear fashion.

As for now I have gotten closer to the elven life mainly by buying from local farmers in Christmas Valley who are being very careful with what they add to the soil to keep it healthy for growing crops. And by purchasing goods made from locally grown materials. This is "old hat" for most elves who are used to a community where most everything is made locally from native plants growing in the area where they live. I know such is not common for humans in the 21st century so my outlook gets me stares around the valley but that is ok with me.

I am still growing my own leeks and onions but will be putting in new planter boxes for my leafy vegetables when the snows stop and things thaw out say April or so. Yes the ice storms have wreaked havoc and so I will be rebuilding most of what was put in the last two years. Thankfully the septic and water systems are fine so it is mainly the buildings and fencing that need repair.

Living and Elven Life is a challenge and is not for the faint at heart, as I am learning first hand.

Here's an update...
I am going to be vending small elven goods at the local farmers/crafters market this spring. That means I will be looking up all my old designs and modifying them to make new designs for the pouches and waisties. Will put images up of the goods on my facebook page in a month or two. Farthingales and petticottes will be up later. Aha I will be busy sewing again.
